The Roman Emperor THEODOS I built AL-NOURIYEH convent in the fourth century as a
sign of faith to SANTA MARIA that miraculously saved his life on the HAMAT coast.
MY BELOVED FATHER deeply shared that same faith. IN HIS MEMORY and last will,
I built this Restaurant and hotel. God bless him.

Le Couvent AL-NOURIYE a ete bati au 4eme siecle par l'Empereur Romain THEODOS Ier
en temoignage de sa foi en la SAINTE VIERGE qui a miraculeusement sauve sa vie sur la cote
de HAMAT. EN MEMOIRE DE MON PERE qui a partage la meme foi, et selon ses dernieres
volontes, j'ai edifie cet hotel et restaurant. Que Dieu le benisse.
